TMV Park Benefits from Towson Clean-Up
The Greater Towson Council of Community Associations (GTCCA) and the Towson Chamber of
Commerce organized the first Towson Clean-Up Day on Saturday October 20, 2007. This event
involved teams of Towson residents, business owners and TU students that cleaned up several
sites throughout Towson. The clean-up was followed by a cookout at the Chamber office in
downtown Towson.
TMV residents planted several trees donated by Herring Run Watershed Association and Mike
and Kristin Gerding, plants donated by Sun Nurseries, and flower bulbs donated by Beth Clifford.
The group also trimmed bushes, picked up trash, raked leaves, and spread mulch. Thanks to all
who helped beautify our park!
